ok, I made a trial membership at pbase and tried to copy & paste the subject line but nothing happened. I know once I learn how to do this, I will be so much better!!

Ok, so it's you! LOL! Remember, go to the full size image of your picture on pbase, not the thumbnail. Copy the url from the address bar line above, past it into the forum reply form (where I'm currently typing this), add a .jpg at the end, highlight the line, and click "Img" above the reply form. By all rights, it should work! I've never gotten that "direct linking" message before.

P.S. I just thought about something. Could it be because it's a trial membership???
