Hi, All. New to the board and want to know all about the Coconuts Villa on St. John. My husband and I are looking to stay there in October to celebrate our one year anniversary. Has anyone stayed here or know anything about it? The view is just unbelievable! I appreciate any and all information/pictures provided. Thank you so much!!!!

There have been several recent threads about this villa. They can be found by using the search feature. I stayed there in Augsut 05 and can answer any specific questions that might not be answered in the prior postings.

Hi - we stayed in Coconuts in May 2006 and just loved it. Great views and a really nice shaded area with comfy furniture on the deck to hang out and enjoy the view. Loved spending time in the pool at the end of the day too. I liked the location on Gifft Hill - quick trip into Cruz Bay and not too far to north shore beaches.

I stayed at Caribe villa on Gift Hill which later on became Coconuts. If this is the one we didn't like the set up where every room was entered by a seperate door around the deck. In other words you were going outside to go from the living room to the kitchen and outside again to the bedrooms. For some this may be ok but we found it annoying. When you left the villa you were locking many doors. It was also kind of tired and needed some upkeep.

I should enter that it was off the market for a speell and was probably renovated. We returned a year later renting Sundance and were much happier with the layoout.

Thanks to all. Yes. I am talking about the Coconuts Villa in Gift Hill. Basically I was just looking to find out if it's a nice place to rent for a week or so. I wanted to find out how private the pool/deck area is? Also, I don't understand about this having to walk outside from the kitchen to the living room. In the pics on line it looks to be connected. I dont think that's really an issue for me anyways. My husband and I are just looking for a great house with a great view. Thanks again. I appreciate it! Also, if anyone can tell me, I cannot figure out how to get to the Reviews Section on this website? Thanks!

On the blue banner at top of page to the far left is a
section called villa rentals, click, there is a drop down menu, click on St john Villa reviews, its set up by year, just scroll down till you see the name

I'll try to post some pics later. The pool is very private. Clothing optional. There is a covered breezway which goes around the pool leading from the kitchen to the two bedrooms.
