Anybody been to Inn Paradise???

We've booked our honeymoon for May 27th to June 3rd. I've been kicking around the forum for a while now (you're all so nice and helpful) and I can't seem to find anyone with first hand knowledge of Inn Paradise. I've seen quite a few folks who have stayed nearby or next door. I'm beginning to get visions of the Bates Motel (just kidding...). Has anyone actually been there or stayed there? To us it seems to be the perfect balance of the things we want.

As I said, everyone has been so helpful here, I certainly plan to leave a good trip report with some photos and also add a Villa review so others can get some feedback on Inn Paradise.

Other question: Does anyone have a definitive answer concerning using Technice in a carry-on cooler? Does the TSA permit it? It seems there are some differing opinions on this.

I'd also love to hear from anyone who is going to be on-island at the same time. Perhaps a meet-up for drinks would be in order!

Thanks for all the great advice,
Pete and Brenda

I've been told by people in my other post that going carry-on w/a cooler is fine as long as you don't have Ice, or synthetic ice gels. It seems that all you have to do is freeze a bunch of meet rock solid in vaccum pagaging (costco is great for this), then fill up the empty space in the cooler w/newspaper. Seems people have done this carry-on and had there meat make it to the villa w/no probelms. I am planning on using a small collapsable cooler that can fit in my carry-on...

I have visited friends when they were staying at Inn Paradise. they have stayed there for 3 yrs in a row. I thought it was lovely, small pool and a nice hot tub. Fantastic views. Its all the way at the top of Rock Ridge Rd. I would def consider it, but hubby HAS to have AC and it does not have any. Would prob get nice breezes way up there...

Hey Suzi,
Thanks for the info. Since this is our first time on St. John and our honeymoon, it was nice to get some feedback. It took us a lot of searching before we made a decision.

Sorry for the bump, but I thought I'd give it one more shot. Any insight more would be great...I just want to make sure the honeymoon is awesome. It sounds like I could stay in a cardboard box on St. J and still be happy! :D
