Where in Cruz Bay can you go to print boarding passes
for the flight before going to STT airport?

Do you need to use the porters at the airport if your
doing only carry on?

There are a couple of options. We printed ours at Surf da Web at the Starfish complex. Very good service there. I think it as $4 for the internet time and printing of 4 boarding passes. Several terminals and very good, informed people working there.

Connections right in Cruz Bay is another option but I am not familiar with their pricing.

If you have carry on only and have your boarding passes just proceed to Customs and Immigration no need for a porter :)

ps: remember if you have boxes of liquor you need to check them

I second Surf da Web. Connections is fine. Quiet Mon does not have a printer. In Coral Bay there's Donkey Diner (I think the printer may be behind the counter) and Keep Me Posted at Cocoloba Center.

Last year I was freaking out because the passes weren't printing right and were spitting out $.25 pages with just one line of gibberish. Turned out US Airways check in site wasn't working well with Firefox, the default browser at Surf-da-Web. Once I switched to IE. Everything printed fine.

Okay, maybe a dumb question from a newbie, but I was under the impression that since you don't need a passport, you didn't have to deal with customs and immigration. Wrong? What's the process?

You don't need a passport but you have to go thru the Customs/Immigration process.

We tried to use Connections yesterday to print our passes. USAirways had changed equipment (plane) so it didn't allow us to print ahead - bummer! Cost was $3/15 minutes and I think .25/per page.

Happy travelling!

Everyone has to go through Customs and Immigration upon returning to the "Mainland" USA

You need either.......

A) A Passport
B) A copy of your Birth Certificate with a raised seal and Photo ID (such as a Drivers License)

Always allow 2 hours for departure at the STT airport :)

There is a printer at Gallows for guest use by the office. I had trouble printing them last summer, and they had me go into the back office. Someone was more than happy to help me. Have fun.

We printed ours last time it was great, Just make sure your flight has not been delayed. We breezed right threw in ten minutes only to sit happily for two hours till we figured out our flight was delayed. By then all the alternate flights that we could have gotten were allready taken by all the people standing in the lines. Made for a very long travel day with all our connecting flights missed.
