I have that T-shirt, too!!! Where did you find that mug, X??

I think that BB is one of those movies that people either love or don't get and absolutely hate. I encouraged someone to watch it who came back to me with a criticism about the special effects being cheesy. Imagine!!

OK, in addition to "no matter where you go, ...". and "the only reason for time...", these are my top three favorite quotes in the not so well known category:

#3: "Nobody is nobody. Everyone has something to offer."

#2: "There are times when verbal ingenuity is not enough."

#1: "Lithium is no longer available on credit."

There's another good one about studying the insignificant but I can't remember the whole thing. Anyone have that one?

Are there any other movies that you BB fans like nearly as well as BB??

Some of my favorite lines:

Q. WHERE ARE WE GOING?
A. Planet Ten!
Q. WHEN?
A. Soon!

and...

"Tell him yes on one and no on two!"

I can't remember that line about studying the insignificant... hmmmm....

Another movie I like in the same genre is "Cherry 2000" with Melanie Griffith.

We are not in the Eighth dimension, we are over New Jersey. Hope is not lost.

Perfect Tommy: Pictures don't lie.
Reno: The hell they don't. I met my first wife that way.

Take her to the Pitt. Go, Big-booty. Use more honey. Find out what she knows

Bucakaroo Banzai is a cult pseudo sci-fi movie from the early 80's. It is so damn funny. Check it out on IMDB.com

Flip - the whole title is "Buckaroo Banzai Across The Eighth Dimension". It stars Peter Weller, John Lithgow, Ellen Barkin, Jeff Goldblum and a bunch of others. Fun, fun movie! The funniest damn role John Lithgow ever did! It was probably a good precursor for "Third Rock From The Sun"... a TV show that I never missed!

"Come alone. And bring your overthruster!"

And, then there's Dub-U's favorite "Declaration of war, the short form"...

As a Blue Blaze Irregular for Philadelphia (Ret.) I'm pleased to see all my friends on the forum embrace Dr. Banzai and his work at the Banzai Institute.

Due to my close proximity to New Jersey, Me and my fellow Irregulars were tasked with keeping a watchful eye for any former Yoyodyne employees as well as escaped Red Lectroids.

We have not as yet had to issue any Blue Blaze Alerts, but remain ever diligent....we are watching!!!!
