Tech Help: Posting a Photo?

Can anyone advise on posting photos? I've tried everything I can think of: I'm posting from my pbase.com account, and have triple checked that I've removed all password protection, but pbase is not the easiest to use, nor are the posting instructions good for those that are not highly technical, imho. I would love to post some pics, if anyone has ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate. Thx.

I don't post from pbase, but if you right click on most photos you've uploaded to the site, then click on 'Properties' you should get a link that you can then copy and paste into the brackets.

yes, tried that, and every conceivable variation, turning html off and on, turning bbc off and on, I'll keep toying with it here and there, maybe I'll stumble upon the solution somehow...

I post from pbase all the time. Go to pbase and find the photo you want to post, copy and paste the url from the address line on your browser, come back to the forum, open a post reply and paste the url. Then at the end of the url, add .jpg

Highlight the entire line and click "Img" above. That will put an [img]tag%20at%20the%20beginning%20of%20the%20line%20and%20an[/img] tag at the end. Click "Preview" below and see if it shows up.

If you have any trouble, PM me. Glad to help!

Thank You CG!! Had no idea I needed to add the .jpg to it, just assumed it was ready to go. Thanks again, much appreciated. :D

adding the .jpg trips me up a lot. That's why I always preview it first. :D

Yes, I certainly have been using the preview button, otherwise, there would have been endless postings, that I'm sure everyone would have just loved: seeing nothing. Thx so much, I feel like a 'real' poster now.

Usually the .jpg is included in the string you get by clicking on 'Properties.' I'm glad you've got it now... don't hold back on the photos. :)
