Hey folks,

Sometimes you're not looking for the cheapest villa, nor the best view villa, nor the most luxurious villa, but rather the best value combination of all those factors. I'd like to hear your votes for best value that you have rented - the best mix of view, amenities (especially kitchen), outdoor living space, etc.

I've got my thoughts, but would love to hear your ideas and your reasons!

We've stayed in:

Tree House
Solaris
Poinciana
Soft Winds
Tesseract
Cinnamon Ridge
Bongo Bongo

and I think I'm forgetting a couple!

So, where have you stayed that you're wishing to visit again??

We're staying there in May.... pool/hottub is great; view awesome....off(low) season prices seemed reasonable. It's a 2 bedroom/2 bath. Just a suggestion for one or 2 couples or family.

Dolphin Run is my favorite value. No a/c but great breeze, no charge for kids, nice pool with sunrise AND sunset view.

We have stayed at:

Glenmar
Arco Iris
Dreamcatcher (would be reluctant to recommend - although the view is tough to beat, the house needs some TLC)

Of the three, we liked Arco Iris the best...Good views of Fish Bay, nice pool, AC in bedrooms, short drive into town. The one drawback to this house was that the bedrooms were all seperate from the great room...If you have children, this might be a problem.

What are your dates in July? We'll be heading down for our 5th visit July 9-16. We will be staying in Ellison, which is a brand new villa in Virgin Grand Estates.

We are going to STJ for the first time in June and staying at Villa Callaloo, completely different from
all the cookie cutter Villas out there. Four seperate cottages, three sided bathrooms, two with queen beds, and one private pool. Its completely out of the box
for us and can't wait to experience the STJ in the off season. So if your looking for someting out of the norm check it out at vivacation.com.
You should always try alittle adventure in your vaction. .

Agreed, we stayed there in April. It was an adventure and lots of fun. Only one of three bedrooms is screened. The rest of them and the loft have mosquito nets. We had birds flying through the room in the morning. I hope you don't have rain the week before!!
