Three couple, 2 new to St. John from Feb.1-9.
We arrived late on STT via Spirit and gathered our luggage and headed to the Green Iguana for our first night. We hooked up with Capt. & Mrs Jay at the Green house and had a great time.

We left the Green Iguana at 11:00 am on Sat 2/2 for Red Hook and took the 12pm ferry, Great new terminal and bar!
I stopped by St.John Spice, said 'Hi' to Ruth, picked up our Jeeps at Courtesy and headed to Starfish market to meet our villa greeter. We followed Chris from Cimmaron to our villa, Blue Heaven Rendezvous, nice villa, great view but we had problems all week (leave that story for another day).

View from our deck
We unpacked, headed back to Starfish, grabbed some snacks & liquids and headed for Hawksnest, the newbie's couldn't believe how beautiful it was.

Hawksnest from Northshore Rd
After some beach time we headed back to the villa to enjoyed some deck time. Later that night we went to town, after showing the newbies town we decidedto go to Cafe Roma. Everyone enjoyed their meal and a few took home some for the next day.
Sunday 2/3
After breakfast we headed for Cinnamon Bay, we had a great time but one of the newbies had too much sun so we headed back the villa and more deck time. That night we hung out on the deck and cooked on the grill. Paul one of the newbie has a pig roast weekend business and is awesome with a grill or smoker, so Paul cooked all week and we just kept feeding him more beer. We missed Sunday Jazz to watch the Super Bowl.
Monday 2/4
Best day of our trip, we packed our cooler and headed for the VI park dock to meet Captain Josh and his boat "Lion in Da Sun". We can't say enough about Capt. Josh, great guy, great trip, we would highly recommend this trip. After some paper work, we headed to Waterlemon and some snorkeling. We saw a Remora and the girls thought there was a shark in the water and headed for the boat
We then headed to Jost Van Dyke, Josh checked us into customs as we walked around eventually ending at Foxy's, great place and drinks. After sometime at Foxy's, we headed for lunch at Foxy's daughters place "Taboo", very good food and excellent view. We had a couple drinks and headed to Sandy Cay where we had a beer on the beach. We then headed over to White Bay and the "Soggy Dollar", beautiful beach but quite crowded. After spending sometime there we loaded back up and headed back to Cruz bay, what a fun day. Josh took us through customs, we thanked him and headed for the villa with a stop at Starfish for some shrimp and steaks after all we had Paul to cook.

Tuesday 2/5
It's going to be hard to beat yesterday but my Sun goddess and I headed to Salt Pond while the newbie's explored the island (no whiners here RickgG). I had good snorkeling today, it was cloudy most of the trip because of the winds. After a great day at Salt Pond we met the newbie's at Skinny Legs at 4:30pm, we had some burgers and drinks and headed for the villa to just hang out on the deck.
another great day.
Wednesday 2/6
It was cloudy and raining off and on so we decide to head to town so the girls could do some shopping. We had lunch at the Beach Bar and then headed for the beach. We stopped at Jumbie and after about 1/2 hour it clouded up and we got caught in a downpour heading back to the Jeep. We waiting in the Jeep and played rummy and when the sun appeared again we headed for Trunk because it had emptied by then. We had the beach to almost ourselves and just chilled and enjoyed the end of another great beach day. We headed back to the villa and Paul did his thing, damn, he's a good cook!

Sunrise on the deck
Thursday 2/7
We all headed for Salt pond and had a great time just relaxing and snorkeling. The newbie headed for Shipwreck Landing for some drinks but we stayed a while longer, what a great day and later met up with them for a Lunch/dinner, we gave Paul the night off! Shipwreck has long been one of my favorites.

Friday 2/8
Well, our last day,how fast it all goes.
We headed for Honeymoon, the newbies followed us into Caneel and I showed them how to get around and we head back to take the Caneel trail down from the top of the hill( love this trail). We had a great relaxing day and there was some great snorkeling around the point towards Caneel. I saw the biggest flounder that wasn't on the end of a hook right at the water's edge. We took some group pictures and headed back to the villa around 4:30pm. We packed our stuff, had a couple drinks on the deck and went to dinner at Magarita Phil's.
Saturday 2/9
We left our villa at 10:30am and returned our Jeeps to Courtesy, they watch our luggage for us and we headed to the Beach bar for some lunch and a couple drinks since our flight wasn't leaving until 4:50pm.
We said goodbye to St.John as we boarded the 1:15 to CA and then the airport.
This was our first group trip and we had a great time!
We have 4 new St. John addicts who are already planning for next year. Thanks to everyone on
this forum who helped with the planning especially RickG for the group suggestions, all the people who recommended Lion in Da Sun and to Capt. & Mrs Jay for their island welcome.
