Does anyone have any info on Sea Forever villa? Looks nice on Catered To website, but on Caribbean Way website it doesn't look so hot.

Amy,
What do you want to know about it? How many people do you have staying there?
I loved it. It has a great pool that is large and a nice hot tub. The bedrooms were nice and have ac.
I thought that it was very nice.

I knew the name sounded familiar ~ heheh ~ we did stay there for SOTB!!
I really liked it. The kitchen, dining room, great room (all one giant room) had a terrific lay out and the furniture was really comfy. The sliders to go out to the deck were hard to open and could use some work. The pool and hot tub were great but the tile around them can get very slippery so be careful.
There were 4 bedroom, all of which had their own enterance and none of which opened right into the main house. This was great for a group of adults since it gave everyone their privacy. I don't think I would like my kids staying in seperate rooms like that so I would not rent this place if I were taking children.
The view was gorgeous and it was close to Cruz Bay.
The driveway is pretty steep and there is only room for 2 cars at the top. Even with just 2 cars, we still had a hard time turning around.
Hope this info helps
XOXO

Sea-Nile,
There will be 6 of us travelling in December, all adults. I was just bummed by the looks of the villa on CaribbeanWay website, as it looked really run down and Cateredto website looked nice. Was the villa really in need of a lot of work? You'd never know it by the one website?
Thanks,
Amy

Bug,
You have a better memory than I do. I forgot about those doors. We were all used to them by the end of the week, but they were annoying at first. Maybe they are fixed now.

Hi Amy:
I certainly would not describe the place as "run down". I thought everything was really nice and well taken care of. Actually, the living room furniture was the best I've seen in STJ. It is the big overstuffed kind with pillows everywhere. It was great! The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room table was also huge and it super condition. There really was nothing "run down" that I saw.
I think it would be perfect for 6 adults. The only thing I would question is if you planned on having 1 car per couple (total of 3 cars). That would never work parking wise. Like I said earlier ~ 2 max.
XOXO

the view was awesome too:

It would be perfect for 3 couples. The beds are Queen though.

Thank you so much for the photos. That helps a lot. We are coming down this April and staying somewhere else, but do not want to wait that long before booking a house for December. This will be our 11th trip, but we normally stay down on the water. Thought we'd mix it up for December. Of course, the requests of the groups for a pool and hottub are not the easiest things to come by anymore. There a a ton of houses I'd love to rent, but they only have pools.
Thanks again. Amy

We visited the ladies at Sea Forever and it was QUITE nice. One downer, the pool was on the lower level away from the kitchen and blenders. As the third car up the driveway that night I will attest that it was interesting getting back down. The posts supporting the pool deck are hard to see in the dark.
As waterguy mentioned, Allesandra is right below Sea Forever. Sea Forever is in the same class, but is almost entirely one one level, sort of. It sets like a set of concentric triangles with small steps down to each tier. When you stand in the kitchen you see everything. We are renting Allesandra in November with MrB and MrsB. As is frequently the case, the photos at
http://www.islandgetawaysinc.com/allesandra.htm do not come close to doing justice. They need to get VickiH to do a session.
Cheers, RickG
