I have been trying to find the post about St. John being #1, I think, atleast they were the top 10 . . . I am not looking for the best beach but for the best island destination.
I have searched google and tried going page by page here and just can't locate it.
Can anyone help me find the post so I can find the link to the article??
TIA

First of all, thank you Mia!
I noticed when I was looking (
endlessly) for the post with the top 10 islands that other St. John loyalist were looking to mix it up and see other places; so I copied the lists above.
I have looked into a few and I am getting exhausted. It is hard to find a destination after you have been to the best of the best!!
I have decided against Costa Rico and also Virgin Gorda. Turks and Caicos and Bermuda are out because of being a little cooler (
I know I know). Aruba appears too touristy.
Anguilla and
St. Barts look great but may not have many activities for what we are looking for this time and might cost too much (St. Barts). Let me know if you agree. Remembering back when I first decided on St. John I was concerned that we would be bored and boy was I wrong. Anyway, they are still on my short list.
I don’t know anything about
Saba and
Nevis so if anyone has some insider info I would love to hear it. So I am going to look into
Most of my research has been into
St. Lucia and I am leaning hard toward St. Lucia and
Jalousie or
Windjammer. But I want to spend more time learning about Angilla, St. Barts, Saba, and Nevis. Do you know if Nevis is just a part of St. Kitts??
I am not only posting this for help but also for others who are looking to mix it up.
crazy crazy

Gina---Maybe you could try Grand Cayman but stay away from 7-Mile Beach area. This would give you some of the activities your family might like (such as Stingray City), but some quieter beaches too. See California Girl's recent report in Off-Topic forum---believe she stayed in Rum Point area. Just a thought.

But JIIIIM: you have to know by now that I am a type A personality and the Caymans are not on the lists.
And I loved Steve Irwin!!
I am not sure how to process this information.
Ok, I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion. PS: Isn't Iowa's winter getting
SO OLD this year???!!!
