First timers looking for a good rental company on St Thomas to rent a Jeep that will allow us to take it to St John.

I like dependable

I've used Dependable and Budget. Dependable has better customer service, but they are off airport so a little less convenient.

Dependable is the only way to go. Their vehicles are much newer and nicer than some other rental companies at the airport. They are located about 5 minutes from the airport and they come pick you up shortly after you call them. Dependable is also family owned and not corporate owned.

Subject to verification we think Dependable does not have to charge the "airport tax" that airport-based car rental companies have to charge.

While Dependable may not be quite as convenient as an airport based car rental company, they are quick at picking you up and taking you to their location, which is more or less on the way to Red Hook.

Dependable picks you up in the vehicle that you are renting. No lugging luggage and you only load the vehicle once.

Reserve early, they are getting popular.
