Hi all,
My sister and husband live in the Orlando area and are joining us for vacation on STT 10/25-->11/1. We are wondering what a good airfare would be, at this time of year.

With the low season, its going to be quite a good deal. $325 is what we look for in DC.
Tell them to check out St. John for Halloween. It's a wild time!!
Cheers, RickG

We are headed down 11-23 for Thanksgiving from MCO and with the holiday the airfare is higher. Saying that I had been watching AA fares for that week and it dropped to 325 with taxes so we booked. It might end up being premature with Spirit not even having fares yet, but with it a holiday week and the flight times we wanted I went ahead and booked. We paid 290 last year for the same week on Spirit and that was non-stop from FTL so the extra 35 from MCO seemed like a deal to me.

We can get Tampa - STT for around $325 and figure that's about as low as we can get. I do check Orlando sometimes and they seem to be $15 or $20 cheaper.

Last year we saved a few bucks and got a direct flight with better arrival/departure times by flying in and out of MIA.
The tradeoff is the drive to and from there, but take a look at MIA and FLL in addition to MCO and you may find flights you hadn't considered that may be worth the extra hassle.

Thats exactly what we did last year. Its only about an hour for us to MCO and 3 hours to FTL, but the quantity of flights and times made it worth the drive. Not to mention the free hotel night and free parking we had at a Marriott near FTL

Just booked roundtrip airfare for my July trip from Los Angeles to STT and paid $303 per person with taxes included! I had been watching prices and my dates were flexible so when I saw 240 I jumped! Can't wait to go back. First flight is LAX to San Juan then on the way back have to connect twice San Juan and Miami but it is soooooooo worth it.
