If you are staying in Coral Bay, I believe that Crabby's rents them as well.

We rented from Noah's Little Arks. Right off the ferry to your right, can't miss it. Great time.
At Sapphire Beach on STT you can rent dinghy's at the marina.

Calypso is over by the smoothie place across from the National Park dock...close to Morgan's Mango. They are larger and faster than noahs and have a center console. Calypso a lttle more expensive, but I thought it was worth it.
I rented at the Westin a few years ago. You can't go to waterlemon (too far for their walkie-talkies) and you have to go into the sound to get to the north shore...kind of scary...4 foot seas in a dinghy was not fun.

We rented from Calypso in early October and they were great! It was a little scary being out on the small boat, but we got over it quicly. The center console was nice to have it made us feel much safer.
By the way, they did allow us to go to Waterlemon but not any further. The snorkeing was great!
