Hey Everyone...

I've been lurking these boards for about a month now and have found some really great tips and information about beautiful STJ. We leave a week from Saturday, from this coooolllldddd NorthEast Ohio Winter. It was 8 degrees last night! BRRR!

We'll be in Sunny STJ for one week staying at the Coral Breeze villa. I CANNOT WAIT! And my husband is worse!

We thought we'd make reservations at Chateau Bordeaux for Valentines Day. Should I make reservations before we leave, or will I be okay to make them once we get there?

We provisioned our villa with Katilady (another good tip from this site), so we'll be all set with a cold beer once we get there!

All of you sound like a great bunch of people here on these boards. Looking forward to talking with you.

Here's to an easy travel day and plenty of sun and fun on STJ. Wish I was going with you. I don't know about the reservations thing, but Im sure someone else here will. Have a great time.

I like your T-9 days much better than my T-9 months!!

As for reservations, if you'll be disappointed if you don't get into Chateau Bordeaux on Valentines day, then you may want to make reservations ahead of time. It's high season and probably a busy day in all of the restaurants.

I've got good news & bad. The good, your leaving for St. John soon and you are going to have a Great time. The bad- St. Joh will be all out of beer and rum by then!

Traveler - It is a drag, I know, when you are leaving, and you see all of the people just coming. I put my blinders on at that time, and just look straight ahead! But, have a great time!!! I'm sure they'll restock the island with rum and beer (at least I hope so!! )

Jay - thanks for the tip, I think I will make the reservations before I come.

I'm just looking forward to a very relaxing week of not having to answer to anyone (except the call of the beaches!), turning off the e-mail part of my phone, not having a computer to look at for a week, and what's the word you guys use here -- limin'? That's a cool word!
