Sorry, Jorge - I started the hijack with the Cruzan reference, but you were right there, too, so I can't take all of the blame. To continue: Yes, that seems pretty pricey, I'll let you know how the villa's version is put together.

Now, a return to the original topic...

I was going to ask if that car had the oomph to make it up the hill between Trunk and Cinnamon, and then I realized I'd just take it in the ocean instead.

My cousin had something that looked more like a jeep that was the same basic concept. He drove it around his farm and right through the pond when necessary. He lives in Ohio, so maybe he got the hook up from the Cincinnati guy.

Hey Jorge,

I don't have enough business sense to advise anyone, but diversification is always good, IMHO. You could get the car/boat rental going, offering your superduper new version as well as the older, classic model to appeal to a broad clientele - AND fire up the MILF bar. I'm sure if both are so successful that you can't handle it timewise you'll have plenty of volunteers to help out! :-)

To borrow a line from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid...
"You just keep thinking Butch. That's what your good at."

Jorge,

This seems like a splendid idea. Since I am a licensed captain and now have a VI drivers license I am about as qualified an operator as you are likely to find. I think you should call the manufacturer and see if they will ship you a demo model. Then you can fly down and we will test it for a week or two and work on the prototype for the dashboard rum dispenser. Based on research preformed previously at the Beach Bar, I suspect you could just pull up and tie to the tree or one of the old abandoned moorings along the beach.

Jorge,
They didn't even make us take the test. I guess under the new rules if you have a stateside license to turn in your good to go. :) Don't tell them about the WV test or they may take it back. At home they also had questions about how many beers you had to drink before it was OK to take your third cousin on a car date. Here it's more like if you see a friend how long can you stop in the middle of the road to talk to them. I understand they also have a question about how many stop signs do you have to stop at between the DMV and Tutu. The answer is all of them. LOL

I'll pop down the first week of November and see what I can apply.
