Who wants to help motivate me!?

Hey eveyone,
I just discovered this forum a few weeks ago and have really been enjoying everyone's trip reports, pictures, and cool questions.
I absolutely love St. John and have been down twice before for some great (but much too short!) trips. I'll be coming down for a week in late February with my two best friends from high school to run the "8 Tuff Miles" race, which from what I hear will be quite a challenge.
I've been keeping an online blog detailing my preparations for the race, and I try to sprinkle in any other interesting St. John or USVI stuff I find online every few posts that people might enjoy checking out.
You can visit the blog at www.runtylerjacksonrun.blogspot.com
Anyone have any words of wisdom to help me keep going strong or other good advice about the race? Or just suggestions for what 3 guys should check out while on the island for a week before heading back to their wives and fiance? I'd love to get any input so feel free to check out the blog and leave a comment. I'm trying to update every single day that I do a training run, which is about 5 times a week (and should probably now be every day w/ less than a month till the race!!).
See ya on St. John!
