Thanks!

We never bother with the schedules. Cruise ship passengers never flood all of the beaches and don't get to any beach early. We get an early start and go wherever we feel like going. If it starts to get crowded, we move on. The further you get from Cruz Bay, usually the fewer people you have to share the beach with. We've been alone on Haulover at midday in March.

I was able to track this schedule down a couple of weeks ago. It's the best one I could find.

Hope it works!

Stampede Chuck-
Thanks for the cruise ship schedule. It looks like Tuesday & Thursday will be busy on-island for us!

I think so!! It's our first time to St John, but I'm thinking those would be good days to head over to East End right?!?!

Yeah-
There are two ways to go. You can either hike down to Honeymoon or Solomon( the cruise passengers don't go here) and they are the closest beaches to Cruz bay. Second, you can head out along the North Shore and check the beaches(Hawksnest will be crowded because it is the nearest, and the taxi's usually take the cruise passengers to Trunk & Cinnamon)if you get to Maho (another great beach) and it seems crowded, head to the East End or Salt Pond or you can just plan to go check out the Coral bay side on those days. We sometimes plan an early trip to Salt Pond and then stop for a late lunch at ShipWreck, Island Blues or Skinny
Legs and stop at one of the beaches on the North Shore on the way back, by then the cruisers have left and sometimes you can even get into Trunk Bay for free. Good Luck, Have fun

Hey traveler22, thanks for the tips!

As one of our friends keeps saying: "Only 8 sleeps to go ... BUT WHO'S SLEEPING!!"
