I know we have a lot of classical music fans here:
"Friends, just a quick reminder about the Puerto Rico Symphony concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Reichhold Center for the Arts.
It is going to be a WONDERFUL evening, with music by our own Gylchris Sprauve, a narration of "A Guide to the Orchestra" by our own Sam Topp and finally Tchaikovsky's splendid Fourth Symphony. You do not want to miss this musical treat!
Tickets are still available, so if you haven't gotten yours, you can call Reichhold at 693-1559, or try Dockside Bookshop, Interiors at Fort Mylner, Island Video in Nisky and Home Again at Red Hook. I think you're also safe getting tickets at the door, so if you can't get to one of those places, just get to the box office a little early to buy your tickets there. Tickets cost $75, $25 and $15 - and lots of music-lovers swear that the best acoustics are higher up in the amphitheater!"
