Hello everyone!
This is my first post to this forum and I have really enjoyed all of your info and advice! I am returning to St John this February and am not familiar with this neighborhood. How far a drive it is from Cruz Bay and are the roads very steep? I am not too worried about driving for myself or my husband, but we are debating about getting a second rental car for the other 4 people we are traveling with.

We stayed there in 2006 and are back in that neighborhood this May. It's about 15-20 minutes from Cruz Bay, all on paved roads, and though there are some climbs and turns, it's no more onerous than driving on most of St. John. Definitely an area worth considering, the views from there are beautiful.

IMHO....You will definitely need a second car.
