My husband and are nutty Pats fans and will be arriving on the island on Sunday. We are staying in Coral Bay and are hoping to catch the tail end of the AFC game. How crazy is Skinny Legs going to be? We probably wont get to the bar until 6pm-630pm. Will we be able to get a seat somewhere in view of the game? Happy to stand, just as long as we see the game. Thanks!

You're going to miss almost the entire game!

There's nothing else for it, you are just going to have to move your flight to earlier in the day.

You have no idea how upset I was when I saw the schedule. Imagine the nerve to put the Patriots on the early game!?! If it wasnt a direct flight, I would consider changing!!!

Well, you could always change your flight to Saturday

Otherwise, you'll need to find a TV at the airport when you land

I hope Logan is under control on Sunday. We're flying to Florida - unless there are major delays, we land in plenty of time to get comfortable somewhere before the pre-game starts.

Am I correct that since the game starts here at 3pm, it doesnt start until 4pm on St. John? If so, that is a little consolation...

I think you should cancel and let me go in your place the Packer game doesn't start until later so i would be ok.

Or, just become a Packers fan and you won't have to worry about it. :D

Well, you can always join us down by the Beach Bar (or vicinity) to watch the Packer game. We arrive on Saturday. I'm hoping they will have it on.

Go Pack!

The early game is at 1:00 EST, right? So that's 2:00 STJT. I must be able to plan my day accordingly. Beach, Skinny's, Beach Bar. How exhausting. :)

Favre is awesome, and a blast to watch but the Packers cant compare to NE!!! It would be great those were the two superbowl teams. What a great time. Any thoughts on how crowded Skinny's will be? Has anyone watched a big game from there or am I the lone football fanatic that cant let it go?

Yes, that's correct. If you're on the direct AA flight, you're scheduled to arrive just after 3:00. You may be able to make the 4:00 CA ferry if you're lucky (no delay, carry-on only, etc.) In that case, you will be in Cruz Bay at 4:45 or so. I'm sure there are plenty of places that will be showing the game - Woody's and Quiet Mon come to mind. Good luck :)
