Why are weekends so quiet on the forum???

Do most forumites wait until they get to work and post while their getting paid?

It just seems weekends are soooo quiet, and dare I say, boring.
I have no life, so I read the forum every day. I take that back. I went driving with my 15 yr. old daughter that just got her permit.

She drove to church and back, nearly ran over the cop directing traffic, and forgets what stop signs are for. Other that that, my day was very boring. I guess I should learn to love football.

I'll be there again March 15 with both daughters and my better half. How did you remember me. Maybe I don't want to know.

Please say "hi" if you're there. Little Cyp turns 20 on March 17th, so we'll be doing some St. Patty's and B-day celebrating. Planning another trip with the daughter and friends in Aug. and then SOTB II in Nov. I'm getting really spoiled to 3 trips a year. Friends ask me why I keep going back. I don't even try to explain it anymore.
I'm just grateful to have FF miles.

Cyp...I think we figured you out from a post you made after you returned home about being at the Beach Bar listening to live music (I don't remember the name of the band) with your daughters. You all were standing next to us as we sat at the corner of the bar!!! My husband is actually the one who figured it out! We'll have a whole mess of folks down that week...St.PD is always an attraction! Not to mention the fact that it's Little Cyp's birthday!!! Surely we'll run into you...somewhere!

Cyp...okay...sounds familiar! Did you catch Groove Thang or Tom Mason with Pru Clearwater? Looks like they are both back this March!!! Loved Tom & Pru!

I'd do anything to get to hear Nectar again!!! Did you ever get to hear them...Cat, Gratchen and Wanda??? They rocked...my hands-down favorite!!! There also used to be a trippy guy that played accoustic guitar that I loved...went back & forth from Croix...can't remember his name at the moment. He disappeared a few years ago. Really miss him. We used to like to catch James at (now) Rumbalaya...here he's back on island! Nothing will ever top Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentleman playing the Beach Bar at the end of the Blues Festival several years ago...that was the end all!!! The Beach bar is the best spot for live music! I'm so excited...now that I'm thinking about it!

Hello Roomie ~
As to your original question ~ you know all us SOTB "work" so that's when we are here. If you'd adopt me and let me stay home, I'll hang with you 24-7
XOXO

JC........I know I've seen Pru, not sure about the others. Reverend Raven and the Smoking Alter boys sounds interesting. Might have to catch that....them, not sure if Rev. Raven is a guy or gal. I wonder who the surprise guest will be on the 23rd. I'll have to pace myself and not start drinking until happy hour if I'm going to last late enough to catch the first set.
Bug.....I'll adopt you. Do you do housework?

I'm dense today......where is "yooper land" exactly and why is it called that? Don't remember that in geography. And what was his grad. present.......a horse, a dog sled????? Sounds like fun, whatever you two were doing.

I told you we should live closer! (I don't work weekends.) I guess if my son ends up in Texas it makes more sense for me to move. Any houses in the neighborhood for sale? Ali~
