We are new to this - have used underwater disposables but thinking about trying some fast snorkeling shots with our digitals. Could get an underwater digital but thinking about trying what we have first. Also thinking about getting better all-weather protection for cameras (rain, beach sand, etc.). Definitely not ready to get into a complete underwater housing. Has anyone had any experience with one of these DiCAPac vinyl cases, description below?

Yes,yes!I know what your talking about.I used one back in July on S.T.J.I have a Canon Powershot A540.I bought the underwater case on Ebay.I think for under $30.00.It worked well for me,but sometimes I had to adjust the lens area ,or I would get a side shadow.Look up my trip report from last July.All the underwater pics are with that soft case.Parafins
