Honeymoon advice please

Would like your opinions please. Daughter is getting married Oct 4, 2008. Would like to honeymoon on St. John. She loved it when we took our kids years ago. Here are the questions:
Should she risk the hurricane season?
Will too many places to eat be closed?
Wants to be waited on..so Caneel Bay seems the only option instead of a villa. ( Westin is not an option, been there done that) I never stayed at Caneel, wonder if it is an up to date 1st class resort?

PS, at least one member of the family will get to STJ next year..we will be too poor after the wedding
