"Causey was one of some 200 private and government researchers from the Caribbean, Florida and U.S. Pacific islands who gathered in St. Thomas for a meeting of the NOAA's U.S. Coral Reef Task Force."
Whoa, that's a lot of fossil fuel being burned for 200 researchers to travel to STT.... Perhaps tele- or video conferencing would have been more "green"?
Hang on.... I think the temperature on STT just went up another degree......
