Any thoughts on where we might be able to catch the Rose Bowl on STJ? (Bonus points for suggestions in Coral Bay!) This would make the guys in our group very happy!

Go Illini!

Thanks!

I would be shocked if it couldn't be done at Skinny Legs.

I'm a U of I alum, so GO ILLINI!!

I was a senior when we went to the sugar bowl six years ago...the weather was terrible in New Orleans that week. It sure would be fun to go to Pasadena!

Nationally televised on ABC, I would think anywhere with a dish. Skinny legs was already mentioned.

IL graduate here too....GO ILL-INI

Best viewing that I know of is from the Rose Bowl itself.

You're more than welcome to come by our tailgate. Unfortunately, it will be a USC party.

Hey promoguy, thanks for the invite for some tailgating! Got to say though, I'd rather watch from STJ. I hope we both have gorgeous, sunny weather for it! (No, I won't be in front of a TV -- unless they can wheel it out to the beach or something!)

Captain Jay: I'll send the guys to Skinny's!

Schnell: Hey great avatar! But I see you wised up and moved somewhere warm.

Theresa_Rae: great to hear from another Illini fan. But let's not talk about how long ago my senior year of college was...

GO ILLINI!!! from another alum.

We also went down to the Sugar Bowl. Not only was the weather bad, but the Illini were taken out of the game quickly by LSU. Kind of a home game for them. It was pretty cool seeing all of the orange and blue on Bourbon Street.

Let's hope for better results this year, but we are 13 point underdogs.

Yeah, we got screwed at the Sugar Bowl when LSU was the home team, and now it's happening again in California. We screamed our guts out in New Orleans but we were severely outnumbered.

We beat Ohio State, I know we can win in Pasadena, but home field advantage is huge.
