We have friends who have decided to join us on our trip in July and are looking for a one bedroom villa in the Coral Bay area. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check out Tradewinds Cottage, if it's available. The views are incredable and have heard all good things.

I just looked it up and is available all of July. You might archive the old forum for "Grinder's" trip report. He and Groggy stayed there and gave a great trip report. You might find the report on a link from Tradewinds. too.

Also, this one is in Coral Bay: http://bluecaribestjohn.com/

Or, if they are looking for a less-expensive option, Sail View St. John is really pretty:

I have always admired Sun, Moon and Stars on Calabash Boom in Coral Bay. The views look amazing and it appears to have really comfy outdoor and indoor furniture. Reasonable rates too. I've never stayed there because we need at least two bedrooms.

Good luck...mia

I have stayed at Siempre Azul and would recommend it. It is just past Miss Lucy's and is on its own point, very private, with a dramatic cliffside oceanfront location. Views are awesome. House is small, but it is one bedroom and has a/c. Very nice wordwork inside if memory serves. There is also a very nice outdoor area with an outdoor pit grill, tables, chairs, hot tub, shower (I think?). Of course, there are also 2 lounge chairs perched on the cliff's edge on a piece of fake turf as you can see at on-stjohn.com......

Try Luna Vista. We are going there for the first time next May. Check out the web site and see if it meets your needs.

Just out of curiosity I looked at Luna Vista. When you click on "more pictures" they have pictures of flowers in the garden! They must be really proud of that!

Thanks
