Last minute discounts

We're going in January!!!
The dates were just confirmed today so just a few short weeks and we're off! Anyway, we still need a place to stay!!
We like to go on the cheap and stay near Cruz Bay so, can anyone tell me which places might offer a last minute discount? I know a few have these posted on their websites, but instead of searching several of those, I thought I would share my good news and ask all of you!
Yippee! Let the planning begin......!

star villa is good..stayed there 3 times. twice in the main house and once in the star apartment downstairs. star villas are a whole series of villas, you will have many choices.

Not sure about discounts in the peak of high season but let us know if you find any 
I have a friend who wants to visit in February and none of the villas I recommend are available and Lindholm and Gallows are both sold out as well.
Good luck and let us know where you book - oh, and if you need a car, call as of yesterday for a January booking.

Hi,
There tends to be a lull in January after the holidays and before the school vacations start. We have a villa booked for the first week, but then our party leaves and my husband and I are staying on for another couple of weeks with nothing booked. We've done this before. Just scout around to see what's available. Have always gotten some kind of last-minute discount.

cloud nine villas are showing some decent january discounts on their villas. best value is moonsong, small but comfortable for couple or 2 who spend lot of time away, hot tub but no pool, great location with west views and sounds of surf from hart bay. we'd stayed at a c0 villa on 5 of our 7 stj trips. while expensive for a couple, we love c9 on gifft hill, stayed there thrice. not luxury villas but all are well equipped, clean and good on island management (and ownership). if you call, tell marcey appell, manager extraordinare, jerry bou says hello.

Try cateredto.com and check out crystal seaview.That villa generally books full for January and February so you may just grab a rare bargain.
