Well wednesday was going to be a nice quiet sit on the beach at Saphire have a few drinks and decompress day. That was the plan. Tuesday night Larry called and left us a message. "Great wind lets buy a six pack of beer and go sailing tommorow for a couple of hours, great wind let's go sailing." Mom didn't raise any fools so we called him back and said ok. Went to Marina Market the next morning and got some subs and beer to go and the rest is in the video.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-MZq9sVTkEM&re ... ram><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-MZq9sVTkEM&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Not that theres anything wrong with the beach at Saphire but this is a whole lot more fun.

I am soooo jealous. What was the name of the schooner that went by with everything flying?

Sailorgirl,
It was the Harvey Gamage. I hadn't seen it before but it is a realy cool old boat.

Here are a few more pictures of it.

I thought it might be the Gamage. Know her well, have some friends who have sailed on her. She's a sail training vessel.

Nice. I'm not at all ashamed to say I'm drooling over this even more than the pictures of food around here. :)
I need Larry to have my number the next time there's no one booked.
