Fish ID Book Recommendations?

We're looking to get a fish/coral/creature ID book as a gift for someone who travels to STJ. Needs to be small-ish to fit in their carry on only luggage, but something more comprehensive than just a "card" type guide.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

This one got good reviews on Amazon. If you use Anthony's shopping link (in the red box at the top of this page)the forum will get some kind of credit for your purchases. Good luck!

The books ksea linked to are awesome, John and I have the whole set and use them on our trips. BUT, they are very heavy. I would guess the entire set (fish, creature, coral, and behavior) weighs about 10 pounds. We bring them with us because all we pretty much do is snorkel and hunt for fish to look at, but I think they might be heavier than what you are looking for.

This book is an abridged version of the fish/creature/coral in one volume:

It's very light. We have this one too and bring it to the beach with us. We leave the heavy ones back at the villa for using later. We also have the fish flips that Anthony sells on this site, which John wears around his wrist while we snorkel. A combo of the flips and the book I linked to might be a very nice portable gift.
