5 Bedroom Villa Advice for Next Trip

I am already planning the next trip back. Due to pre-scheduled travels in '08, we won't return until probably June of '09. I know its early to start planning but the planning is really a huge part of the fun for me.

So my question to all you experts...

5 bedroom house

Non-negotiables: A/C bedrooms at least, pool, great views

Wants: northshore or quiet location

Seems there are tons of 4 bedrooms that fit the bill but we really need an extra bedroom. This would be for 2 couples, 2 mature ladies, my 2 kids & 1 teenager. So we need 3 good bedrooms, the other two bedrooms don't have to be fantastic.

Oh and budget ... we would like to keep it around $1000/bedroom, so $5000 or so for the whole house.

Flip Flop,

We have 5 couples going in April and are staying at Ristaba. The main house has 4 bedrooms and there is a seperate cottage with two additional bedrooms. I've had some conversation with a couple people who have stayed there and they assure me it's great. Price in the off season is $5,000 for the house and $6,000 for the house and cottage. All bedrooms in the house are master bedrooms with a/c and private baths. I'll let you know in April how we liked it!

I have visited Ristaba and it's great - the views are amazing!

We are staying at Villa Tesori - a bit above your price range but I hear it's even better now since the photos were taken (about $200K invested by the new owners) and it does accept children. http://www.islandgetawaysinc.com/villatesori.html

On page 3 there is a thread from Dave-a-roni looking for 5 bedroom villas and quite a few are mentioned - I would link you to it but don't know how

Pia

ps: I think Ruth also started a thread trying to help Dave out but I can't see that one - I'll keep looking

Pia, you are NOT a dummy. I just learned this "bump" technique recently myself!
