I am back. We all survived but I will not lie and say its a breeze with a 10 month old and he was the best he could have possibly been. He loved the water and is such an easy babe. Still the extra crap you need is almost overwhelming. Regardless, I would not have had it any different. We had a great trip. Great meals, great experiences...SO glad we went. Can't wait to go back.
The long and detailed trip report is coming up soon.

Welcome home. While you were gone I brought all of my leaves to your yard. Your neighbors were rather concerned.
One of my favorite memories is the day I first took my youngest baby at 5 months into the ocean on a perfectly calm day at Trunk Bay. The look of shock on her face immediately followed by joy is a vivid memory. The time has erased the pain of being a pack mule for all of her baby crap! She'll be 11 on her next trip; now she's the pack mule.
Cheers, RickG

Can't wait to hear all about it
I'm sooooo sorry we didn't hook up - next time
Looking forward to hearing about Thanksgiving dinner at the Banana Deck - I hope it was good ( as I think I recommended it
)

No problem Pia. I plan to be back as soon as possible. Unfortunately we have two trips lined up for '08 already (though one could be changed to STJ

) but in '09 we'll definitely be back. It will be our 10th anniversary and I can't think of a better way to spend it.

Welcome back Flip Flop, I too took my son at nine months old and again a year later. He is now 8 yrs old and has a picture of me throwing him in the air while in the water on Maho, he's got the biggest smile on his face that you have ever seen. He will be back for the first time since 2000 in July 08 and he is so excited.

Welcome back FF. Looking forward to your report and pictures. It is hard to lug all that baby stuff, but how wonderful to have the babies with you. I started taking Mr. Ksea, Jr on vacation at 7 weeks of age and put his tiny toes in the Ocean in South Carlolina!

Welcome back flip flop! I have to admit that I cheated and looked at your pictures already. Your kiddos are sooo cute!
Where did you stay again? Is that Hale Lanai? It looks really nice.

Welcome back Flip-Flop! I do understand about traveling with a little one. Treasure these moments though...they grow up so fast.

Truly he was great the entire time. Physically its a ton more work ... but attitude wise he was a limin' boy. I did catch myself a time of two thinking this will be so much easier next time! But then I realized when he's the girl's age I will so miss that chunky little baby he once was

I'm glad you liked Hale Lani. I was worried that you'd hate it and blame me for saying it was so great!
