Thoughts of Thankfulness

Each Thanksgiving I try to write a poem to my wife (of 27 yrs) to thank her for special things like...bringing a smile to my heart...laughter to my spirit.
I encourage you all to write a little something to your other half to say thanks.
BUT, I thought why not write about St John...
I'm thankful for such a beautiful spot
placed so conveniently on this earth
God was surly smiling to create
those beaches, those mountains, those views.
I'm thankful for the chance to travel
to discover, to explore, to relax.
St John gives me this and so much more
could there be a more perfect place?
I'm thankful for those willing to share
those villas we wish were home
those contagious smiles seen everywhere
from Crux Bay to Coral Bay.
I'm thankful for the people on this forum
will to help, willing to answer
willing to be civil, willing to be friends.
Thankful we all have St. John in common.
I encourage you all to write a little something to your other half to say thanks.
