care package

Our son lives on St. John and will not be back to mainland for Thanksgiving or Holidays. Over the years we have experienced great delays and frustration with the mails and thought we would arrange a gift box or care package locally(edible goodies mostly). Since Starfish recently advertised their new deli etc. we called them and after talking to 5 people were told they basically don't do that type thing. Anyone have any alternative suggestions?
