Hello All...Wife and I are returning to STJ for our 5th trip late February and I cannot wait. We are bringing three other couples. I know...I should know better but in reality I am probably the biggest pain in the A## of the whole group.

Two couples will be newbies. Friends who have never really traveled much in fact, our friend Renee has NEVER flown. Also my mother and father in their mid sixties.

Anyone on-island during that time?

I am so excited to return. We have been going to Maui for the last two years and it really is not my thing at all. Beautiful and lots to do but it seems Disney-esque in that it is too perfect. There are no slightly dumpy beach bars, etc...

We'll be there! Feb 23 to March 5th. We'll be staying with another couple (we were married on Trunk in May 2001 and they were in May 2005). Also, another couple we know will be there at the same time with their children and family. The countdown is on!

We will be there - group of nine. Hubs, me, son, Nana and her boyfriend, Friend #1 and wife - all repeaters and Sister of Friend #1 wife and her husband - newbies.

I do have my tickets. I booked one with USAirways miles (45K - ugh!) and the other was just over $500. Looks like it had dropped to $396 just after I booked. I fear that is the best it will get.

Did you book?

Yeah, we booked way back in May or June for around $550.

I had seen that USAir (the direct flights) were hovering below $500 recently.
