Pete just showed me a really cool website that shows ALL airlines, all plane model's configuration of seats. Not only that, it describes for you exactly what is a good seat, a bad seat and everything in-between. You scroll over the seat and a description of that seat appears.

Enjoy:

Yep, love, love ,love it - have used it for about 3-4 years now and never book a seat without consulting it first :)

Thank you so much! I just checked our seats on the BOS-STT leg and we were in a row without a window  Needless to say, I just changed it.

Sorry that the link I provided defaulted to Delta. You all can change that when you go to the link and adjust to put into your favs.

The only fault might be that the equipment will change after you have selected your seats but, at least you have the best shot at the best seats, in the best of conditions.

Anyone know which side of the plane is best for views of the islands? Been a few times but can't seem to remember.

Usually the left side of the plane, as when approaching STT they land with the open water on the right, mountains of STT on left, but that is on approach - not sure about the last 30 mins or so of flight which side will see more islands so to speak - but hey, all views are good, right :)
