We are in the airport after the usual AA goat-rope check in. I SWEAR THAT I WILL DO NO CHECKED LUGGAGE AND PRINT OUT MY BOARDING PASSES ON STJ NEXT TIME! There, I feel better. One woman and a man nearly got into a fist fight at the counter. She was being an ugly American and he was calling her on it. You, rude woman, back of the line!
There were at least four family groups who had multiple over weight bags and were repacking them after being asked for over weight fees. You, fat suitcase, back of the line! For God's sake, how many times do you change clothes a day? Sweet Christine fit all of her clothing into her knapsack and still came home with unworn clothing.
The snack bar at the airport is being renovated. No hot food or blender drinks. We stopped at Cuzzins for lunch and it was terrific.
Cheers, RickG

Wow! Some people are so rude!
Thanks for the update, and hopefully you and Christine survive the way home. I've enjoyed all of your real-time reports! Have a safe trip.

yikes, people can be scary...
Where do you print out your boarding pass on STJ? Is there a place to get internet access (
and print stuff) if you don't bring your own laptop? (I don't want to bring mine.)

Chicagoans: We printed our boarding passes out at Connections in Cruz Bay (sort of kitty corner from St. John Spice). I think it was something like $6 for 15 minutes access. Definitely affordable!

Thanks California Girl! That is definitely a good idea and will save us some time at the airport.

We got home fine with a good connection in SJU. I AA more than most, but their check in has gotten slower.

Last May we printed out our boarding passes at Destination St John's office. Took 2 minutes and made it that much easier when we hit madness at STT.
