Totally OT Trip Report

We went to Urbanna, VA (my hometown) for the 50th annual oyster festival. Good times. I thought I would share a few pictures and a brief trip report.
First a few rules:
I must not be the only one in the family in a beach mood. The girl found her baby brother's beach hat in the bottom of the stroller and insisted on wearing it around town. We deemed her Gilligan for the weekend.

And who says you can only see Geckos, Pirate and Steel Drums in the islands?
My hubby and I in front of our new boat! HA I wish!

Yep, we had a funnel cake...and oysters, and as many crabcakes as our tummies would hold, and other fried things and just a few well concealed beverages in public.

I grew up in Southern Maryland where they have an oyster festival-your pics brought back good memories! Your kids are adorable!

Thanks all! I think they are pretty darn cute, but I think that's geneticly required. The water was a quick fix to get me through until STJ!
I am off to Denver Wednesday-Friday, back for the weekend and a short beginning of the week and then I am OUTTA here. I can't believe when I get back it will be post-Thanksgiving & almost December.
