Northshore construction next to Sago Palms?

I understand the house next to Sago Palms (above Jumbie Beach) is being built (or renovated from ground up) and that all the concrete work is done (foundation, cisterns). I was wondering if anyone has stayed at Sago this year and what the construction noise is like or might be like by spring/summer of 2008? I realize it's hard to predict and construction can take longer than expected. I understand that the noise isn't too bad considering some of the major projects elsewhere on the island. Just wanting some more information and experiences. Looks like it won't interfere with our stay too much, but double checking. We get up early and construction crews don't work on weekends, right?

I can't speak to the construction on this particular villa, but I can tell you that at least some construction crews do work weekends. When we were there I'm pretty sure they started working on Sirenusa and Grande Bay Saturday at around 7 AM. Sirenusa might have even been 6:30...
Also, when we were at Argonauta in June the "crew" working on the house next door worked on Saturday. I say "crew" because it was only two guys, and I don't think they were getting much accomplished! We'd hear a hammer tapping once an hour or so.
I'd call the company that reps the villa and ask them directly.

We'll be at Sago Palms November 28th to December 5th - I'll let you know about the noise when we come back!

Thanks for your inputs! I found out that this particular crew doesn't work weekends, so that's a plus.
KPlumm: I'll be looking forward to your report. Even if it's not long, any information and comments will be helpful. I believe we are going to go ahead and keep this reservation. The house, location, and price are very good. Enjoy your vacation!!!!
