Is there a place to store our luggage by the Cruz Bay dock on STJ? Here's our story:

Our plane was departing at 4:45. So we were going to return our vehicle at noon, have lunch somewhere by the CB dock, then take the longer Charlotte Amalie ferry over and then head to the airport, getting there at around 2:30.

Now our plane doesn't depart until 6:45 pm. That is a long time to haul our luggage around.

By the way, this is the 4th time they've changed our outbound flight, but the 1st time they changed the STT portion of it. We change planes in San Juan and that is the flight that they keep changing. Aaargh!!!

Any ideas? Thnx!!!

You can store your luggage at Connections for a small fee per bag.

Ask if you can keep the vehicle a couple of hours without a fee.

We did that on our last trip; however, we typically travel in the off season so the turnover may not be as tight.

Thanks...we'll check into both actually. I hadn't thought about keeping the vehicle longer. We'll play it by ear as I'm sure the airline will change our departure times again!

i assume you're renting a villa ?? if the rental company has an on island office they may let you leave your luggage there for the afternoon. i prefer not to keep too much in my car while i'm exploring the island....not to say break ins are often but why tempt ??!! no harm in asking !

Rody - Yes, we are renting a villa and I hadn't thought about asking them about storage. I'll contact them this week and ask the question.
