Hi. How chaotic is the St. Thomas airport these days? Are there major delays getting through security? How much time should we give ourselves for the flight home?

Not chaotic at all. Everything's under control. Give yourself two hours between check-in and depatrure, same as in America.

We were pleasantly surprised how quickly we got through customs and security when coming home. We did have a morning flight, which might be less hectic than later in the day. Still, seemed very easy. Like Bert suggested, arrive 2 hours before scheduled departure time and you should be fine.

we were there last Thursday and we breezed through all the way to the gate.
