For me (imho) no - you can find a really nice villa for $2723.00 for the week in off season, and it will probably be at least 2 bedrooms

Ummm. Not to trash any of your sponsors, but Pia's right. We've got a really nice four bedroom villa with our own pool and no screaming kids in the pool(just for hubby and me-- lot's of space I know!) and we're paying less than $300 a night. Would be way cheaper if we were sharing with someone else.
Unless you want a "resort experience" (whatever that is!) I'd rather have my own villa for less. JMHO.

It's a good deal for the Westin (I believe as I've never even considered staying there but did once look at their rates), but it's not a good deal when you compare it to other villas.
Some people like resorts and prefer to stay there. I love the villa experience and wouldn't trade it for anything. For the resort folks, this should save them a little bit.

Ouch. That seems high for the hotel. I didn't think my friend who stayed there once paid almost $400/day, and she went in December.
