St. John Car Rental 411+ Answers

Since there were some questions/concerns/surprise about the faxes some received as well as the car rental selection, I decided to go to THE source.
Here's what Lonnie at STJ Car rental had to say (Thanks Lonnie for getting back to me so quickly!):
1. People got faxes all of a sudden because we checked our records this week to make sure that we have sent all the info (confirmations) that people are supposed to get in the coming months. We have hundrends of customers and some people's confirmations may have slipped thru the cracks. SO…..everyone who hadn't received a confirmation, even though they had a verbal confirmation, got one this week.
2. As for the person who got the confirmation that was a cancellation, that was a mistake, and they should get their deposit back(if it is less than 3 weeks to rental time) within a couple of days.
3. There are no more 2 door Vitaras sold. We switched to Wranglers to accommodate this slot.
4. The vendor was unable to guarantee delivery of the new Grand Vitaras by the season, so we would not have any vehicles to rent to people if we hadn't substituted Nitros and Libertys. If we had been able to get the Vitaras, we would have had to increase the price to the Liberty price anyway. We would have preferred the Grand Vitara…but it didn't work out. On the plus side, the Libertys and Nitros hold up to 5 people plus luggage.
5. Anyone who is nervous about their reservation, should call (340) 776-6103 and ask for Cynthia. She is wonderful in taking care of customers and makes a note on the file of everything that was done.
