I didn't make any when I was there in early Oct. last year, will I need them this year the week after Thanksgiving? Thoughts? Opinions?
Well, need to correct myself - we did make them last year but basically called in the morning for that evening.

MB, I only made them for Zozos. Last trip we only made them for Tage in advance. We usually hit the Lime Inn (though I am not convinced we will this time) but only call once we are on the island).
I tried to contact Rhumblines but I am not sure if they take ressies. I also want to hit Sweet Plantains, but hope that we'll be able to get in w/o one.
Oh, and John at Banana Deck made a reservation for us for Thanksgiving. Shameless plug for John - he is SUPER nice. Pia said they had a great turkey day buffet last year so we are going on her recommendation. He said they will have their regular menu + a traditional dinner (not buffet) for those who want/need it!
I thought about cooking for about a nanosecond. But since we are leaving the next morning it made it easy for me to talk myself out of it.

good for you FF, I'm not cooking this Thanksgiving either. My sister is supposed to take over but that the moment that's suspect! She's not an "entertainer" LOL. So it may be room service at the PHL Marriott!

I would maybe just give a call the day of? That's what I did when we were there last week. Rhumblines we just walked into. La Tapa I called first and they said that they would recommend the reservation (for outside near the street) and then for Morgan Mango's also took them. It can't hurt -

thanks Susan, I think I will stick to that. if some place can't take us we will carry on to the next place. we don't really have our hearts set on anything for a given night, otherwise I'd consider it.

mb, my sis just said the same thing about me! We have friends flying in from Kuwait and Honey and I need to show them a good time. Honey asked me to make a killer welcome dinner for them

. Needless to say, we are taking them out for dinner and drinks. I like to be entertained, not entertain. I'm so not Martha Stuart!
