My laptop just died...

No kidding, bad motherboard.

I take that as a good sign. Now I won't be tempted to waste a lot of time next week on things that aren't REALLY that important.

My wife has her old Apple that doesn't have a wireless card, and we can use that to download pictures from the camera's memory card, so we're cool there.

Question: Is there some place on island that I can pop into, log on to a computer for no more than five minutes, so I can check the email account I'm giving my mom for emergency contact?

If so, how much should I expect this to cost?

Deli Grotto (at least 2 years ago) had a couple of terminals for checking in. I think it was $2/15 minutes. A great deal while waiting for your sandwich!

I used a computer at Connections to print our boarding passes. It took about 10 minutes, I printed a few pages and I think it was $6.00.

Connections in Cruz Bay and Coral Bay. But not as oomfy as Deli Grotto. LOve the folks there though and they are like the Grandaddy of on island communication.

There was a shop upstairs from Star Fish I used to print up my boarding passes. I recall it was relatively cheap.

I'm pretty sure that Surf Da' Web in the market place has terminals. The market place is where Starfish is located.

Note that ADM Wireless has taken over the Surf da Web spot at The Marketplace, however they still offer computer/internet service.
