They must be building a larger deck. Otherwise it does not make sense. Sitting on the water is the biggest draw to that space.

IT CANT BE

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

They must be making a larger deck. What else could they be doing? No sane person would not replace that. :P :P

I just read that Mojo Cafe is moving in there and they are constructing a larger concrete deck! Go to On-Stjohn for details!

The wooden deck is being replaced with a concrete deck.

I don't think it will be any bigger since that would require a whole mess of lawyers and a year's worth of CZM hearings.

They aren't "pouring" the deck either, apparently it's a ready made, sectional product from Florida that kind of just snaps into place like a jig-saw puzzle.

Don't worry they are replacing it with concrete. That deck was about 20 years old and right by the ocean so I'm sure it needed some love. They are totally redoing the kitchen too.

Sounds like some nice improvements---I'm looking forward to a new waterfront restaurant.

I checked out On-Stjohn.com and it looks like its going to be a nice place. The feature below looks interesting on "Yawzi Cove".

Not to be too picky, but my understanding is that Tim is opening a new restaurant there not moving Mojo Cafe.

Mojo will continue in some form with something new opening in the renovated Panini Beach space.

Similiar ownership, nearby, but different places.

That's my understanding as well.

Hummm....This is getting to be like that "telephone" game!

As reported earlier, this NEW restaurant will be called St. John Waterfront Bistro. Mojo Cafe is not affected at all.

As reported today, the deck is being replaced, not expanded.
