I wanted to thank all the forum people who post villa reviews and questions. My husband and I are headed to St. John in one week to see the villa that we have been building the last 3 years (what a labor of love)- we got married in st. john in 2002 and have been in love with it since. We built the house to rent- and we've tried to take into account all the pros/cons people mention on this board- so without you all, it could have been a very different place!!!

It is in virgin grand- 3 bedrooms, all equal sized (a forum must it seems), 3 full baths, 2 half baths- it has a bar on the pool deck (with tv)- that was my husband's thought of watching football while at the pool- definitely not my idea!! We named it Elison- after our daughter Ellery and our co-owner's daughter Alison. St. John Ultimate villas will be renting it. We are hoping to do the website etc. when we are down there next week. I think we hope to have it ready to rent by christmas- although we are assuming most people have already made those plans.

Thanks. It has been a rough road getting it this far- more so for my husband than me- but I keep telling him that when we get there tuesday and he can have his first drink overlooking great cruz bay he will feel really proud.

Congratulations! Virgin Grand Estates is a great location. We stayed at Vista Caribe last May and loved the neighborhood.
I'm sure if you have it on the market for Christmas, someone will be sure to snap it up.

Congratulations - maybe we'll see it.
We land on STJ almost exactly 6 days from right now, and a week from today will be the first day we'll ever wake up on the island!

Congrats! we're sure it was a big LABOR of Love!! Things move slowly on the island wow 3 yrs.! U did it! Virgin grand estates is a beautiful area DH & i walked thru it on last visit the villas r beautiful! looking forward to the photo's! enjoy your new home away from home! & oh DH would of thought of same as for TV on deck!!!! Get Out! MORE Sports! so much for the ROMANCE!!!! factor......
