Great St John sailboat experience. Visited USVI last February. We did an afternoon sailboat trip from St. John aboard the Gypsy Spirit II. Terrific experience. Capt. Doug was a true professional, well-versed, fun, friendly. He chose a great snorkeling spot. All- around fun event. I would definitely go back aboard on the next trip in Feb. '08.

Captain Doug sold Gypsy Spirit and left island a month or so ago. He is a good soul and he is sorely missed. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip with him, as so many others did over the many years he was here. Maybe some day he will return.

I agree, that was a great day with Doug.
I expected he could be leaving sometime soon after our day in May, though. He talked like he had other places to be. A true sailor.
Hope to see him somewhere, someday again...
