La Miramar or Stillwaters thoughts?

Thanks to everyone for their input on a villa for our 2nd trip to St. John. Once we added interior-access bedrooms to our list for a toddler-friendly villa, it got even tougher to find options! The nice Caribbean Villa folks sent over a list of houses that might work and two Chocolate Hole-area ones interested us: La Miramar and Still Waters. Anyone have any experience with those? Concerns with La Miramar are being right on the water and the small pool, concerns with Still Waters are the view and also maybe the pool.
Thanks for any feedback you may have.

I stayed at La Mirimar last July. The house is great. It's very easy to get to and the drive way is fine. It's not really too easy to get to the water as you have to go down quite a few steps and getting to the waters edge is not easy. We never entered the water from this villa as it was too rocky and it justed looked too dangerous. The house is huge and the master is wonderful. The ac cools just fine which is necessary that close to the water that time of year. Mosquitoes were horrible at night and we could not sit outside. I think that's a downside to not being up on the hillside. The biggest negative to me was the deck and patio furniture, which needed to be replaced. The deck is not covered and the sun us quite hot in the afternoon. But the house is so large and has walls of windows, we really enjoyed staying in and being cool after a day at the beach. I used the pool once in the late evening and it was nice, but the mosquitoes at me up.

Well, La Miramar is going to have better sun set views.
Did you look at Le Lapin II or Dolphin Run?

We did look at Le Lapin II and it didn't have full house AC, unfortunately, just bedrooms. Same for Dolphin Run, I believe.
Thanks for the comprehensive La Miramar review, that's just what I was looking for! The deliberations continue...
