Just posted Paradiso review if you want to check it out. Very good these days.

Also, no official word but looks like Tage is closed for good now.

Why did Tage close permently? I thought Carl(think that is his name) the new owner and chef was doing well.
I know people miss Ted but there are good chefs all over island. Heck Alex at La Tapa to me is one of the best chefs around and also Jeremy at Rhumblines.
So any word on why Tage is closed for good?

I just spoke with someone on island and they said Tage is just closed off season, will be reopening for season. They are a frequent diner at Tage......

I know Tage closed for a about a week a month ago for off-season and then re-opened briefly.

Restaurant biz is tough anywhere but particularly tough here, even if you do everything right.

I had not heard anything about re-opening. My closed info came from rest. industry workers and did not sound like re-opening was in the cards. I heard about it 2 weeks ago but was kind of waiting to see if there were any signs of life. Maybe there's been a change and there's some hope. Will let you know loud & clear if they re-open!
