I know I am getting close to my trip to STJ when I start having weird dreams. Last trip it was a nightmare about not having applied any sunscreen to my then 3 year old. This time, it was arriving at the house to find that it was horrible! Dirty sheets, broken fridge, bunkbeds in a TINY room!

I know, I have issues!

Ok, I am now glad to know I am not the only one who has weird vacation, anticipation dreams. The other night I dreamed all the sand washed away from our favorite beach and there was no way to get in the water.

The other night I had a dream that I showed up at the airport with no luggage and no ID, and not enough time to go back to the house to get everything. I am wondering if this is some dream manifestation of my concern about not checking luggage...that I won't have everything I need. Neurotic, I guess.

At least you all are dreaming "in the present". I still dream about not being able to find my locker in high school...wandering around the halls in my ratty pajamas!

How Funny Flip Flop. A few years ago we went to the Caymans and had an experience close to that. We called the villa agent when we arrive on-island and they said just go to the villa, the door will be open and keys on the counter. I have FlaSteph on tape as we enter the villa and you can hear her say – “What’s all this Sh@t”. The place was a mess. The folks that cleanup the villa thought that we were arriving the next day. We called the agent and they had someone over there in a jiffy. The woman came with her daughter and was soooo embarrassed and kept apologizing. They had the place looking great in no time.

Travel to the islands - $600
Villa on the water - $800
Getting FlaSteph on tape saying, “What’s all this Sh@t” - Priceless

I have that dream a lot. Or one where I never really graduated, so I have to go back and I can't find any of my classes!

Funny you should post this. I've been having dreams about our upcoming trip. I can't remember exactly what the dreams are about, but I do know 1 dream had to do with the villa and another about lost luggage.

I know WHY I'm having these dreams... I am a major worry wort.

Hopefully your fav beach is not Cinnamon as my friend went there over the weekend and the beach was closed - tape all across the entrance to the beach

Haven't heard anything else or if it is still "closed" - will post if I hear.

OMG, Pia, please keep me posted on that since we leave Sunday!

I've been having freaky dreams too, and my mom says it's because I'm getting ready to go on such a huge trip.

Connie,
I have the same high school/college dream! I can't find my classes or I had one class left to graduate and I didn't finish. I wonder what that means....

My STJ dreams are usually good; weird, but good. I have had a few about not being able to get to the beach. That is similar to not being able to find my classes...

can't keep up!

I've bookmarked cruise ship schedules, restaurant closures, local provisioners, weather.com, the webcam....Now I have to worry about beach closures?!?!? Say it isn't soooooo.......
I am not usually this uptight, but it's so much better to occupy my mind with honeymoon planning than wedding stressing. it's a coping mechanism.
